You may remember a programme on TV when we were kids called ‘Why Don’t You?’ You may not. You have to be of a certain age. If you do recall it you may be humming away to it now.

Just turn of your television set and go and do something less boring instead!

The irony of watching television to be told to switch it off was as intriguing to me now as it was then.

It’s harder than ever to disconnect

These days we spend hours on social media and youtube gobbling up content on how to … cook, garden, upcycle, embroider … whatever. Get my drift?

So with that message I’m mind. I’m going to switch off my tech today (After one more post - this one!) and get on with living without a screen.
